MATH
Number Talks
  • Probability exercises - what are the chances?
Probability
  • I can use words such as “impossible, possible, more likely, less likely, equally likely, and certain” to describe the probability that an event will occur.
Daily Math
  • I can practice all strands of math independently in my workbook then get help for concepts I don't understand yet.
    • Monday: Patterns & Algebra
    • Tuesday: Number Sense
    • Wednesday: Geometry and Spatal Sense
    • Thursday: Measurement
    • Friday: Data Management

LITERACY
Reading
  • I can read indpendently for up to 20 minutes.
  • I can share my reading choices with others.
Word Work
  • Switch It and Word Cookies - I can use my knowledge of letter sounds and combinations to make words with different sets of letters.
  • Word of the Day - I can break down words into vowels, consonants, and syllables, and work on rhyming, writing sentences, and finding more words with those letters.
Writing
  • I can write independently, sounding out words and using my resources to spell words.​
  • I can use full sentences, including capital letters and ending punctuation.
  • I can use picture and word prompts to support my writing.
Daily Language
  • I can practice different aspects of language in my workbook then get help for concepts I don't understand yet.
    • Monday: Sentences and Punctuation
    • Tuesday: Grammar and Usage
    • Wednesday: Vocabulary and Figurative Language
    • Thursday: Phonics, Spelling, and Word Skills
    • Friday: Writing Prompt
