HYBRID CLASS INFORMATION:

For students and families who prefer a school schedule which will keep their social bubble smaller, the hybrid class is the option offered by our district. In this model, students will attend school in a smaller class for 2 days each week, and will be required to engage in learning at home for the other 3 days.

The school days for students will be from 9:00am-1:00pm either Monday and Tuesday OR Wednesday and Thursday, with remote learning for all on Friday.

I will provide homework for the students to complete via paper and online formats during their home learning days. I will be available to answer questions and address any concerns about your child's learning after 1:30pm Monday-Thursday and during the day on Friday when I am also providing remote learning for all students.

ABOUT ME:

My name is Kelsi Lesowski and I am the hybrid teacher at Craigflower Elementary (kids call me Ms. L or Ms. Lesowski). This will be my third full year teaching at Craigflower, and I spent some time working here before that. Last year I taught a grade 4/5 class, and a grade 1 class the year before that. I've also had other experience teaching grades 1 - 6. I know that this will be a very unique school year for your children. The hybrid model is a new learning option so will likely take some time to adjust to ensure everyone's learning needs are being met. I have lots of ideas and want to work with you and your children to ensure they and you are able to be successful this year.
