Getting Along Together

LEARNING GOALS:

• I can understand that people from different cultures lived together in early Canada and they sometimes helped one another, though sometimes didn’t get along.
  

WAYS TO SUPPORT AT HOME:

• Watch videos and read books about the early settlers and what Canada was like for the settlers and indigenous peoples.
• Encourage your child to ask questions, then help them find the answers.
