Homework week 28

Important:
Remember that Indigenous People have gone by many names over the years, and that any reference to names that are not politically correct are not my doing, but how the resources were made years ago.

Adapting to the Climate

LEARNING GOALS:
  • I can identify some reasons for why Canada’s climate was a challenge to early Canadians.
  • I can understand that Early Canadians did not have the same resources we do today but they learned to adapt to the climate.
WAYS TO SUPPORT AT HOME:
  • Watch videos and read books about the early settlers and what Canada was like for the settlers and indigenous peoples.
  • Encourage your child to ask questions, then help them find the answers.
