math

Probability

LEARNING GOALS:
Probability:
  • I can use simple words such as “impossible, unlikely, less likely, and certain” to describe the probability that an event will occur.
WAYS TO SUPPORT AT HOME:
  • Play games at home or keep a tally of how many times you do something on a certain day. Look at the data and ask your child about the probability or chance that you’ll do a certain activity or someone will win a game or roll a certain number (ie. there’s a 1 in 6 chance you’ll roll a 5 using a standard die).
